The OEEP staff will work with teachers and school districts to design an exciting and engaging education program for your class or school.
Getting Started
To schedule a program at your school or a field site, please contact the OEEP to discuss your needs and match them with OEEP services. We can also help your district subscribe to BOCES services.
Special Services
The Special Services Educator will work with you to customize a program that supports your classroom curriculum and learning objectives, either in-school or in the field. We can suggest an existing program or design one specifically for your school. Each year hundreds of teachers use our programs to support elementary science classes through A.P. Biology, A.P. Environmental Science, Marine Science and Earth Science.
Day Use
Day-use programs are designed to be an extension of the classroom. in order to prepare for their trips to the labs, teachers attend a one-day training session to familiarize themselves with the programs that are available and the lab facilities. For more information, please visit the Day-Use tab.
Science Enrichment Excursions
To schedule a science enrichment experience for your class or school, contact the
Enrichment Excursion Coordinator for more information such as cost and cooperating programs.
Residential Programs
To schedule a residential experience on or off Long Island for your school, contact the
Enrichment Excursion Coordinator for more information such as cost and cooperating programs.
NOTE: School districts are responsible for transportation for all programs.
