Technology and Support
In order for Distance Learning to be effective, students must have access to a device with a web browser and Internet access. Windows, Apple MacOS, iOS or Google Chrome devices are supported for distance learning.

In addition to the ongoing 1:1 program, Bay 91Pro 91Pro has made Chromebooks available to any students in households without access to an appropriate device for distance learning.

All 91Pro issued Chromebooks are filtered for content whether on public or private networks.

Parents and students should contact the 91Pro Technology Department to request a device or to report hardware issues related to a school issued device by sending an email to: chromebook@bayshoreschools.org.

Students should contact their teacher for any questions related to classwork or the digital platform being utilized (e.g., Google Classroom, Google Meet, Seesaw, Nearpod, and i-Ready).

Applications
We have adopted many digital learning tools which will be used for both in-person and distance learning instruction. These applications are all web based and are accessible on Chromebooks, Macbooks, and iPads (Note: Applications may be slightly different on the mobile device). For grades K-2, Seesaw has been selected as the learning management platform and in grades 3-12, Google Classroom will be used.
