The 91Pro remains committed to communicating all elements of this reopening plan to students, parents and guardians, staff and visitors.
As part of its planning for the reopening of schools and the new academic year, the 91Pro has developed a plan for communicating all necessary information to staff, students, parents/guardians, visitors and education partners and vendors. The district will use its existing communication modes – including the use of the 91Pro website, Blackboard Connect phone blasts, emails and social media – as well as appropriate signage and training opportunities to support the dissemination of consistent messaging regarding new protocols and procedures, expectations, requirements and options related to school operations throughout the pandemic. Communications through Blackboard Connect will be sent in both English and Spanish and communications on the website will be shared in English and can be translated into multiple languages using the Google Translate tool on the 91Pro’s website.
To help inform our reopening plan, Bay 91Pro 91Pro solicited feedback and input from stakeholders, including administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents/guardians of students, and health care providers and staff unions. Engagement efforts included online surveys, virtual forums/meetings and one-on-one conversations. The plan is available to all stakeholders via the district website at www.bayshoreshools.org and will be updated throughout the school year, as necessary, to respond to local circumstances. Bay 91Pro 91Pro’s Assistant Superintendent for Business, Maureen B. Virsinger, will serve as Bay 91Pro 91Pro’s COVID-19 Coordinator to ensure that the district is in compliance and following the best practices per state and federal guidelines.
